“It is an exciting time not only for our solid surface division, but for Genesis as a whole,” said Kamden Betzer, product manager for Genesis Solid Surface. “As we continue to be the go-to supplier for RV interior products, the new facility not only allows us to expand upon our current partnerships but also gain market share immediately.” Betzer explained that the additional space gives Genesis the ability to accommodate the significant increase in demand for solid surfaces, while also carrying the largest assortment of colors and on-trend designs. Betzer added, “We have an extremely talented team that is eager to ramp things up and more than double our output by the end of 2023.”

Genesis is the only single-source manufacturer to offer both solid surface and pressed countertops with a dedicated domestic inventory for faster delivery. Their expansive offering is curated by expert engineers and designers, who partner with Genesis OEMs. The Genesis team can expertly color-match vinyl and solid surface for custom looks, including white marble and stone.

Genesis has a unique growth story behind it, as more than 20 years ago, CEO Jon Wenger started with a single laminating machine in a small warehouse to produce laminated panels. With more than 1,200 employees in Elkhart County, the company is the leading laminated panel and component manufacturer in the U.S.

In addition to Plant 10, Genesis operates a total of thirteen other plants in Elkhart County, Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Keysville, Virginia, Mocksville, South Carolina, Hope, Arkansas and Sebring, Florida. Genesis has the distinction this year of ranking #34 on the FDMC 300, a list of the largest wood products producers in North America, up from #38 last year.
