Laminam North America Debuts Italian Nature-Inspired Colors Alongside Transferable 25-Year Limited Warranty on Residential Countertops

Beauty intersects functionality with six exquisite, versatile colors now available in the North American market.

Laminam, a global leader in producing surfaces for interior and exterior design applications, has launched six new color additions to three of its existing color collections in the North American market. Laminam also announced a limited transferrable 25-year warranty in the USA and Canada on residential kitchen and bathroom countertops in two thicknesses (12 mm and 20 mm). “We wanted to start off the year right by bringing new innovative colors to the North American market that are perfect for a variety of surface applications. The nature-inspired colors are not only sustainable, and exceptionally durable to meet any residential or commercial surface needs, but as with all Laminam products, they have a successful record of being easy to fabricate and install,” said Philip Eeles, president of Laminam North America. “We’ve also launched an industry-leading warranty for our clients, providing them with long-term assurance in their choice to use Laminam surfaces for their kitchen and bathroom projects.”

Fokos Collection
The Fokos Collection is a series with velvety-smooth tactile surfaces inspired by primordial elements like stone, sand, lead, earth, and salt. The collection features seven colors, two of which are new for 2023.

Grafite is a deep shade that draws inspiration from the dark gray and compact mineral graphite extracted from the earth’s subsoil.

The Le Terre Series, part of the IN-SIDE Collection
The main characteristic of IN-SIDE surfaces is their body and surface continuity, both as material and look. Featuring a gradient of soft, muted colors that are deeply rooted in the Italian way of life, the ‘Le Terre’ series, is part of the IN-SIDE Collection. Three new colors are offered in two finish types, Naturale (smooth to the touch) and Fiammato (a typical flame-patterned process that distinguishes the most prized Italian stones).

Terra di Matera evokes the texture and aesthetic nature of the Lucanian countryside, a historical region of Southern Italy. The texture is reminiscent of warm beige, brilliant white, and the movement of lights and shadows reflected on the earth, a distinguishable characteristic of the mountainous area of the city.

Terra di Saturnia is inspired by the famous hills of the Maremma, Italy, known for its hot springs, mud baths, and nutrient-rich land, Terra di Saturnia features hints of taupe and grey which reveal a soft, sandy surface.

Terra di Pompei captures the essence of the hot magma dried in the warm Naples sun. Warm brown hues meld with hints of beige and champagne.

Calce Collection
The previous Calce Collection consisted of soft, gentle hues ranging from ivory to black. Each color has a distinguished aesthetic taking cues from the simplicity of historic plastered walls. Its texture is of the utmost appeal. The new addition of Terracotta adds a beautiful new dimension to the collection.

Part of the brand’s existing Calce Collection, Terracotta‘s cozy vintage red transmits warmth and depth to any project.

As with all Laminam’s surface options, these colors are non-porous and have a high resistance to stains, scratches, and heat. Laminam surfaces are also eco-friendly with a slab manufacturing process using 20 – 40 percent pre-consumption recycled materials, which can contribute to LEED certification. Laminam is the first Porcelain surface manufacturing company in the industry to obtain the ISO 20400 certification, a certification that regulates standards and guidelines for sustainable procurement at the international level.
